Following the EUROSOI-ULIS 2025 conference, held from 14 to 16 May 2025 at the Warsaw University of Technology and marking the 11th edition of the Joint EuroSOI Workshop & International Conference on Ultimate Integration on Silicon, a dedicated survey was launched to explore inclusion and diversity within the nanoelectronics community.
A total of 64 participants contributed to this survey, providing valuable insights into:
- demographic trends within the field,
- perceptions of inclusiveness across different environments,
- and the structural barriers encountered by researchers and professionals working in academic, industrial, and policy‑oriented settings.
The resulting report offers a detailed overview of these findings. It aims to support a deeper understanding of gender equality and inclusion dynamics in nanoelectronics, and to help guide future actions, initiatives, and institutional strategies that foster a more inclusive research and innovation ecosystem.
The full results are now available and represent an important step toward building a more equitable and diverse community within nanotechnology and nanoelectronics.
