SiNANO/ICOS Workshop – Challenges in advanced computing and functionalities

The SiNANO Institute invites you to the workshop “Challenges in advanced computing and functionalities -International Cooperation in Semiconductors” organised together with ICOS in the framework of the upcoming EUROSOI-ULIS Conference, on May 13-14th, Athens.

The workshop will present the preliminary ICOS results and hold discussions on the Generic Needs and Challenges for International Cooperation on Semiconductors.

Preliminary agenda:

Day 1

– Skills Shortage Session, with the European Chips Skills Academy, ALLPRO, Fraunhofer, IEEE initiative presentations

– Presentation of the final ICOS results on Economic analysis of the EU and international semiconductor ecosystems by Léo St Martin – Decision Etudes Conseil

Day 2
– Introduction and Presentation of the results of the ICOS Survey, by Francis Balestra, ICOS coordinator
– Presentation of the preliminary ICOS results on International technology Highlights on Advanced Functionalities (Fraunhofer – VTT)
– Presentation of the preliminary ICOS results on International technology Highlights on Advanced Computing (CEA-imec)
– Presentation of the White Paper on Generic Needs and Challenges for International Cooperation in the semiconductor field (Ugent)

– The afternoon session is jointly organised with the INPACE project and will be dedicated to international speakers from India, US, Singapore and Japan covering the Advanced Node, Heterogeneous Integration & Packaging, Advanced Materials and Photonics
