SiNANO/ICOS workshop D4 at ESSDERC/ESSCIRC

SiNANO will organize a joint event with ICOS (International Cooperation On Semiconductors) on September 11th in Lisbon, during the ESSDERC/ESSDIRC 2023 conference.

This workshop N° D4 “European strengths and gaps in emerging semiconductor technologies” will allow to review the main EU and non-EU semiconductor ecosystems, and the main EU and International activities and most promising technologies in the field of Advanced Computing and Functionalities.

The objective of these reviews is to highlight the strengths of the main leading Institutions in each country (Universities, RTO, Industries) in each technological area. It will be carried out on the basis of the expertise of the ICOS and SiNANO partners and knowledge in this field, on the input of the Roadmap teams for these research activities, on publications and possibly using other supports.

This work will help drafting Recommendations for international research cooperation for the European Commission (one of ICOS goals) and will be used by the EC for future joint calls between EU and other leading semiconductor countries.

You can find more information and the detailed programme on the event page on the ICOS website.
